Compliance

Is your workforce compliant?

As an employer, you have responsibility under legislation to keep your staff up-to-date with and compliant to both industry-standard Safe Work Practices (SWP) and your standard operating procedures (SOP).

FTS can assess employee competence against SWPs and your own organisation’s SOPs.

In addition, we offer the following short courses, conducted at your workplace:

Forklift Licensing and Refresher Courses

Four hour practical and theory refresher course which can identify and correct any skill gaps your staff may have, as well correcting non-compliance with SWPs.

Conducting training and licensing at your site helps employees to become fully familiar with your site and equipment. Learning to identify and safely navigate the layout, processes and any particular issues that your site may have, along with regularly assessed knowledge and abilities are the best safeguards against accidents at work.

Remedial Training

An incident at the workplace is terrible for all involved. FTS can conduct a full after-incident investigation, analysis, and planned future avoidance training to both reduce the chances of one happening again, and to restore morale.

Load Restraint

A three-four hour course including theory and practical training to give drivers and loaders the knowledge to safely secure loads.

Driver Assessments

On-road and theory assessments from MR to MC.

Chain of Responsibility

Keep all staff knowledgeable about who is responsible for what in all processes, so that no important checks or reporting are overlooked.

Manual Handling Techniques

Safeguard staff against common and easily-avoidable joint and back injuries when lifting and moving stock.

Dangerous Goods

Training in handling precautions, safety checks, and disaster mitigation techniques for the safe transport and storage of dangerous goods.

Fatigue Management

Both basic techniques and advanced techniques (for supervisors) are available.
