About Us
Flexible Training Solutions (FTS) is a nationally registered, ISO 9001 quality-assured RTO, established in 1999. We provide mostly work-based training to a wide range of companies, from some of the largest in Australia, to some of the smallest. We’ve built an outstanding reputation as a training organisation by tailoring training programs to each client’s specific needs, and by fostering a training culture inside the businesses that we deal with.
FTS specialises in the Transport and Logistics, Business and Wholesale industries. We have been involved in the two most recent reviews of the Transport and Logistics training package, and have been recognised in a Federal Government audit as a leading provider to the Transport industry.

Training

At FTS, assessments are task-based, measuring progress through practical application rather than tests. Training is fully integrated with daily work, ensuring real-world skills. Our assessments are mapped to national standards, leading to recognised certifications upon completion.
Consultation
We’ve always found that training yields the best results for all parties when the employer gets involved in the planning process. This is why we prefer to work following a cyclical model.

We start by consulting with management, engaging them in planning the program.
Observe
We then observe the way the department operates.
Customise
We then customise our methods and materials to best match what we’ve seen and heard.
Restart
We then consult again, and continue around the cycle until we have a training program that really fits.
