BASIC FATIGUE MANAGEMENT (BFM) This course is designed for schedulers, supervisors, and managers responsible for administering fatigue risk management systems in the transport and logistics industry. It focuses on monitoring and implementing fatigue management strategies, ensuring compliance with the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS), and addressing the legislative requirements under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL). Participants will learn how to effectively plan trips, schedule work and rest hours, and update and maintain fatigue-related records, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Additionally, the course emphasises assessing staff competence in fatigue management, enabling participants to foster a culture of safety within their organisations.
