View our methodology page to find out more about the way that FTS can implement a successful and progressive training program in your workplace.
Please browse through the course information below to see what training programs we can offer yourself or your business.
Supply Chain Operations
Our Warehousing Operations qualifications are designed to give your warehouse staff all the skills they need to fulfil the tasks assigned to them, while capitalising on your way of doing business. Units involve training in housekeeping, picking and packing, safely handling loads, product knowledge, estimating weight and dimensions, dispatching/receiving goods, and cargo and lean processes.
The program allows us to work across all aspects of your operation while being specific enough to customise for individual roles in receiving, dispatching, picking/packing and stock control. Your business may choose to involve teams from all areas by injecting role-specific modules into the program. Our Holistic Approach is based on the understanding of the need to engage with employees, whilst minimising the disruption to usual business activities.
Driving Operations
Courses in Driving Operations are designed to give your drivers and driver support staff all the skills they require to make sure that your goods are delivered correctly, safely and on time. Units involve training in such skills as navigation, loading and unloading goods, handling manifests and paperwork, inspecting vehicles, and transporting hazardous or sensitive cargo.
Qualifications
TLI21221 Certificate II in Driving Operations
TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations
TLI20221 Certificate II in Road Transport Terminal Operations
Logistics
Courses in Logistics are ideal for your floor supervisors and Operations management staff, giving them the skills to better organise staff and increase productivity while reducing errors in the logistics process.
Certificates II and III of Logistics have been rolled into the Supply Chain Operations qualifications.
Qualifications
TLI50221 Diploma of Logistics
Business
The Business Training Package has undergone a full review, with many previously separate qualifications being joined with the general Business qualification as a specialisation e.g. Certificate III in Business (Administration) rather than the separate Certificate III in Business Administration.
The outcome is consistent core business skills across the level, with opportunity lean towards a field or take a generalist approach.
Business Administration
Business Administration courses have been combined into Business qualifications under the latest BSB20 package. A Business (Administration) specialisation is available at Certificate III and IV Levels pending certain criteria.
Qualifications
Business Sales
SIR30316 is a flexible qualification suiting the needs of sales or customer service representatives selling into other businesses and can be contextualised to selling business or retail end-user products and services.
BSB40615 Certificate IV in Business Sales has been rolled into BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business.
Qualifications
Leadership & Management
Leadership & Management qualifications reflect the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts. As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of their team. Trainees will learn to apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
Retail
Retail qualifications give employees the skills necessary to effectively serve your customers, including the promotion of products, giving advice, and handling complaints and returns.
Higher-level Retail qualifications prepare employees for management roles in stores or area management for franchises, and include skills such as budgeting, recognising marketing opportunities and recruiting staff.
Please note, training and assessment for SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail may be provided by Berengarra on behalf of Flexible Training Solutions.
Customer Engagement
Customer Engagement courses have been rolled into the general Business qualifications as a Specialisation. These now appear as Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement), and Certificate IV in Business (Operations).
Generally we advise to take a non-Specialised course instead in most instances, as this allows for the most customisation to fit your needs or the needs of your business.
